Sunday night at WWE Backlash Becky Lynch won a six-pack challenge elimination match to become the first ever WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
The other five women who competed in the match, Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Nikki Bella, Naomi and Natalya faced off in a fatal-5 way match on SmackDown Live this week to determine the new number one contender.
Alexa Bliss pinned Nikki Bella to win the match and she will go on to challenge the SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
