There is no shortage of news surrounding Alberto Del Rio and Paige. The two are certainly interesting characters both in and out of the ring. This kind of attention can be a good thing, but in the case of Alberto and Paige sometimes so many eyes on them might not be the best thing.
In most people’s lives if you get into some kind of argument it is awkward for people around you. Although there will always be some people who rubberneck and stick their noses in your business it can’t be anything nearly as bad as what Alberto and Paige experience every time they have a spat.
An investigation was launched and Alberto reportedly could have had some domestic violence charges looming over his head. But that all changed recently when his other half Paige was reportedly under investigation for battery due to the incident. Paige admitted in the chilling audio from the incident that she should be the one charged and it looks like they might be doing just that.
Alberto was indefinitely suspended from Global Force Wrestling following the announcement he was under investigation and although his title wasn’t stripped as GFW Global Champion, he did lose his title belt in WAW. So far GFW hasn’t commented on the current status of his suspension.
Now to lighten the load off of Alberto Pro Wrestling Sheet reports the Orlando police department told them Alberto is no longer a suspect in this investigation. Since the detective’s investigation concluded Paige should be the one charged then he is off the hook.
This story is a mix of good and bad because although Alberto is now cleared, Paige is not which could eventually result in her release from WWE if things don’t turn out well for her. If she is actually convicted with battery by the policies WWE goes by she could be released.
