Sometimes we have to go through things in life that are difficult to deal with. Tommaso Ciampa recently stabbed his longtime friend in the back and that couldn’t have been easy. It could have been one of those “this is hurting me more than it hurts you” kind of things. Or maybe it was just fun for Ciampa to turn full heel.
Regardless of how Tommaso Ciampa was feeling at the time, turning on Johnny Gargano changed his life forever. Team DIY is no more and the break-up happened at NXT TakeOver: Chicago after their loss to The Authors Of Pain.
The change for Ciampa just keeps coming because he is also moving. The former NXT Tag Team Champion recently tweeted out a picture of a very clean room just before he took off.
Fans were tweeting at Tommaso Ciampa asking him how he could break up the DIY Clubhouse when in reality anyone really should have seen this coming. Tommaso can always remember the good times as he heads off and starts a new chapter in his life. It seems like it was just yesterday when #DIY was going to SeaWorld and dancing with Groot. But now they’re off on their own.
The future looks bright for the former members of Team DIY. They might not be a tag team anymore, but this won’t be the last fans see of Tommaso or Johnny. Let’s just hope Tommaso Ciampa doesn’t miss his old friend too much.
