Quite a few wrestlers have parted ways with WWE this year, but the company is always in recruitment mode. In recent months a number of wrestlers have finished up with the WWE ID program, however some new names have entered the picture.
During a recent episode of Reality of Wrestling, Booker T made his way to the ring and he surprised Josiah Jones with a WWE ID contract in front of the live audience.
“The thing is, I see so much of myself in this young man right here. So much. Hardworking. Since day one here at Reality of Wrestling it’s always been about putting the work in. Trying to do exactly what it takes to stay on track. That’s what it’s about at Reality of Wrestling. Me personally, I’m proud of you. Especially over this last year. Especially over these last few months.
Josiah got a tryout with WWE a couple of months ago. He went to Orlando, Florida and he represented Reality of Wrestling. It’s because of the work that Josiah has put in that WWE has honored you with a WWE ID contract. Congratulations to The Rocket, Josiah Jones. This is the beginning of the journey!”
After Booker T made the announcement he and Josiah posed for the camera as the fans chanted “you deserve it!”
