We’re less than two weeks away from Crown Jewel, and it was announced earlier today that the show will be moving from the original location to a different location in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
PWInsider is reporting that TKO held a town hall today for all employees via Zoom. According to the report it was mostly a “rah rah meeting” for each department including WWE, UFC, Zuffa Boxing and On Location, and the meeting involved a quick recap of what’s going on in each division.
TKO President and Chief Operating Officer Marc Shapiro spoke and noted that the company has upcoming events in the Middle East. It’s being reported that he emphatically stated the safety of everyone was “paramount.”
WWE President Nick Khan spoke about the up and coming stars on the WWE roster and specifically mentioned names like Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Sol Ruca and Oba Femi.
The meeting was held before the news of WWE moving Crown Jewel to a new location in Riyadh was announced, so that situation was not mentioned or referenced.
