This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Atlantic City, New Jersey and the show kickef off with an appearance from the new King of the Ring, Oba Femi.
Oba made his way to the ring to a big ovation from the fans who chanted his name as he attempted to start his promo. Femi told the fans that it was a reception fitting of a ruler, but now they have to give him a reception fitting of a king.
The King of the Ring continued as he said that a choice has to be made, and Brock Lesnar’s music hit, then The Beast Incarnate made his way out into the arena with Paul Heyman by his side. Lesnar got in the ring and clapped for Oba then Heyman handed Lesnar the mic. Brock introduced Oba Femi as the King of the Ring then congratulated him on winning the tournament.
Lesnar told Oba that maybe he can help him make his decision. He told Oba, “talk s**t, get hit,” then he hit Oba with a low blow followed by the F5 before he left the ring.
Oba got back up and picked up the mic and said, “you’re in front of me, and you’re still a b***h.” Femi then challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam. Brock got on the mic and accepted the challenge, on one condition, they face off in Hell in a Cell.
After the commercial break Oba told Adam Pearce that the championships aren’t going anywhere, he will take those when he wants, and he’s sure about the match with Brock at SummerSlam.
