WrestleMania 42 has come and gone and now all eyes are looking ahead to WrestleMania 43. A few months ago WWE announced that WrestleMania would emanate from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever next year, and now it seems that the company has a few dates in mind for the show.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that March 27 is the target date for WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia next year, which serves as the last weekend of Riyadh Season. It’s being said that the weekend of April 10 is also on the table as a possibility.
It’s also being reported that a one time shift back to a one night event for WrestleMania is possible for next year’s show, but not likely. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has been told that ESPN prefers a two night event for WrestleMania.
The stars of WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia sooner than later as the company announced today that Night of Champions will be held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, June 27.
Last year the Night of Champions premium live event featured the finals of the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments, but there’s currently no word on whether or not WWE will be utilizing the tournaments at the show once again this year. Stay tuned for updates.
