Liv Morgan Wins Women’s World Championship At WWE Money In The Bank

WWE Money in the Bank featured two big title matches and Roman Reigns successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight in the opening match.

Later in the night Stephanie Vaquer put the Women’s World Championship on the line when she defended the belt against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan in a triple threat match.

After a few minutes Liv Morgan completely dominated the match until Stephanie Vaquer got the upper hand and hit Devil’s Kiss on Vaquer. Throughout the match Stephanie sold a potential knee injury. She went to the top rope and Becky Lynch knocked her down to to turnbuckle. Vaquer dropped Lynch on Morgan below and connected with a crossbody on Lynch for a two count.

Vaquer followed up with a backbreaker on Liv for a two count. Becky Lynch hit Liv and Vaquer with a double DDT. She pinned them both and they both kicked out. Outside the ring Becky and Stephanie hit Liv with a double suplex on the floor then they set up a table.

Stephanie put Liv in the a half Boston Crab as Becky put Liv in the Disarmer. They both let go and Becky hit the Manhandle Slam on Becky as Stephanie broke up the pin. On the outside of the ring Vaquer sent Liv and Becky into the steps then hit them both with Meteora on the steps.

Vaquer threw Liv into the ring and went to the top rope as she connected with Vaquer Inferno on Liv. She pinned Liv and Becky pulled the referee out of the ring while she was counting the pin. Stephanie got Liv in the corner and hit her with a running knee. Lynch ended up on the apron and Vaquer hit her with a superkick, so Lynch fell onto the table that was on the outside, but it didn’t break.

As Vaquer was distracted, Liv hit Stephanie with Oblivion then pinned her to win the WWE Women’s World Championship.
