This week’s episode of Raw gave fans plenty to talk about as the show featured three title matches, Liv Morgan’s televised in-ring return, and an appearance from WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
As Stephanie Vaquer was making her way to the ring fans couldn’t help but notice she was wearing a walking boot, and the commentary team confirmed that she suffered an injury when she defended her championship against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez in a triple threat match last week on Raw.
PWInsider is reporting that Stephanie Vaquer is legitimately injured, but not to the point where she will have to take an extended amount of time off, or vacate her WWE Women’s World Championship.
After Stephanie Vaquer cut a promo in the middle of the ring Raquel Rodriguez appeared out of nowhere and attacked her from behind. Raquel wrapped a chair around Vaquer’s leg, but luckily WWE officials intervened before Raquel could do any more damage. Later in the show Stephanie was being helped backstage when Raquel attacked her once again. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce responded by ejecting Raquel from the arena.
At this point in time it’s not clear how long Stephanie Vaquer may be sidelined, but judging from the way things played out on Monday it seems that her feud with Raquel is far from over.
Stay tuned for updates.
