AJ Styles has been in the professional wrestling business for decades and throughout the course of his career fans have seen him hit some impressive moves in the ring.
The Phenomenal One used to use a maneuver known as the Spiral Tap which involved Styles jumping off the top rope and spinning multiple times before landing with a flat back on his opponent, but it’s been some time since he’s pulled it out of his bag of tricks. During a recent interview with SHAK Wrestling, Styles confirmed he’s done with the move while indicating that he’s open to the idea of someone else using it.
“If you’ve ever heard, ‘If you don’t use it, you lose it,’ that’s 100% the case. It’s a very awkward way to flip and do some stuff. And I had put it on the backburner for so long, I just lost it.
And it’s in my head, but if I can’t pull it off the way that I want to do it, I don’t want to do it at all. I haven’t even attempted it on a trampoline, in a pool, nothing. It’s there for the [Will] Ospreays or anybody else who wants to do it.”
