Last year a number of surprising names were released from WWE including former Universal Champion Braun Strowman, also known as Adam Scherr. Since his release Adam Scherr has been quite active on social media, and he recently took to Instagram to wish his father a happy birthday.
Scherr later shared a screenshot on Twitter showing that Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker commented on his Instagram post, and he pointed out how surreal that was to him.
This is still surreal to me. Everyone loves the Crusher!!!! #MarkOutMoment pic.twitter.com/ZZbx98F67Z

A fan then asked if the former champion would ever team up with his dad for a once in a lifetime match, and that’s when Scherr revealed that he pitched an idea that would have seen him and his dad team up to face Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon.
“Pitched the idea of Shane and Vince vs my Dad and I. Then budget cuts lol”

Obviously the tag team match didn’t end up happening, but Adam Scherr did pick up a win over Shane McMahon when they faced off in a cage match last year at WrestleMania 37. Scherr later went on to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash, and he was unsuccessful in what would end up being his final WWE match.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
