Shortly after Jon Moxley parted ways with WWE, he opened up about his run with the company during an interview on Talk Is Jericho.
During the episode Jon Moxley described a promo that Vince McMahon wanted him to cut on an episode of Raw in Los Angeles when he was working as a heel. In the promo Moxley was supposed to insult the fans in Los Angeles by telling them they were “smelly” and “foul.”
Moxley also noted that he objected to some of the lines in the promo, and took up his issues with WWE creative and Vince McMahon.
This week on Raw, Elias kicked off the show by telling the Los Angeles fans that they were “pieces of garbage” and “toxic.”
Dave Meltzer pointed out the similarities between the promos on Wrestling Observer Radio, and he noted that the company wanted to use the promo, which is why they had Elias do it on Raw.
