The wrestling world has been in disarray after learning that Shad Gaspard has gone missing. The former WWE star was swimming at Venice Beach on Sunday with his son, and he got caught in a strong riptide.
Shad directed rescue workers to save his son, and they did. A large wave then hit Shad and he hasn’t been seen since.
Rescue workers have been searching for Shad since he went missing, but it was recently reported that search efforts have been scaled back drastically.
Shad Gaspard’s wife, Siliana, recently took to Instagram to thank first responders for rescuing her son, and for their efforts in trying to find Shad.
Siliana Gaspard posted the following:
“We would like to express our gratitude to the first responders who rescued Aryeh and to the lifeguards, coast guard, divers, fire and police departments for their continued efforts to help find our beloved Shad. .

Shad is a fighter, a warrior and a magical soul. We are hoping and praying for his safe return. As a family we thank you all for your concern and well wishes. Please continue to keep sending your positivity and prayers to our beloved Shad. .
