Joseph Connors went up against Mark Andrews in the second match of the night during the United Kingdom Championship tournament on Sunday. Michael Cole said once again how Connors is his pick to win the tournament, but he’ll have to go through the backwards hat wearing Andrews.

Connors got an early advantage in the contest. Andrews countered hey sunset flip with a flip of his own into a dropkick. He executed another 619 looking move to Connors’ midsection and quickly tossed him out of the ring. He then jumped off of the apron for a flipping aerial maneuver but Connors dodged as Andrews landed on his feet.

The match was quick for a while with both men trading maneuvers however it was slowed down as Connors took advantage. Andrews took a small advantage and Connors ended up outside of the ring but he drug Andrews out with him. Connors placed Andrews up against the steps and attempted to kick his head through them, but Andrews moved at the last second.

Once they got into the ring Andrews executed double knees to Connors in the corner followed by a suplex and then attempted a standing sunset flip, but Connor threw his knees up to block it. Connors regained control and executed a sick looking move that was an alternate version of his own finishing maneuver for a close two-count.

Connors tried his first finishing moving a second time, but Andrews countered with a stun dog millionaire, climbed up to the top rope and executed a phenomenal looking shooting star press on Connors for the three count. This was quite a shocking development in this tournament. Andrews advances!
