Trent Seven vs HC Dyer opened the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament, and the crowd was hot and ready to go.
Trent Seven is wrestling as the face with an awesome beard wearing a shirt that says “mustache mountain.” HC Dyer is the heel and his opening quote in his promo package was, “when you strike someone clean across the jaw it feels good, it feels sensational.”
The ring announcer Andy Shepard didn’t give the UK crowd room to say “one fall” after he did, even though the United Kingdom crowd try to squeeze in the traditional chant.
Some of the match highlights go as follows:
Seven did this weird thing where he looked like he rubbed his crotch and then he kissed his hand…but he has a vicious looking stomach slap. Dyer has a nice looking version of the blue thunder bomb he calls the ripcord blue thunder bomb. Seven rolled out of the way as Dyer missed a frog splash. Trent Seven hit his finisher, Seven stars and seven wins opening match.
