Mick Foley was hired to be the Raw General Manager last summer when the WWE brand split returned, but Foley was recently fired after his relationship with Stephanie McMahon went south. WWE officials are currently on the hunt for a new Raw General Manager, and it looks like they have a few people in mind.
WWE.com recently posted an article looking at 5 WWE Superstars who could replace Mick Foley as the Raw General Manager and there are some interesting names on the list. The list includes Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Eric Bischoff, Steve Austin, Jim Cornette and Edge.
Of course that doesn’t necessarily mean any of those names will end up filling the position, but it’s still likely that we’ll be seeing a new Raw General Manager sooner than later, and Kurt Angle is rumored to be the frontrunner at this point in time.
Jim Ross unfortunately lost his wife Jan earlier this week after she was involved in a car accident which injured her, and she later passed away at the hospital. Ross is a man who is full of optimism and he recently took to Twitter to thank fans for their support and to also let everyone know that he will be a part of WrestleMania week in Orlando.
I'm eternally grateful for your support during these devastating days. Jan was my Angel & she loved Wrestlemania week.
See you in Orlando. pic.twitter.com/PIvvYSEvHU— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) March 24, 2017
