Yet another member of the WWE roster is out of action, as WWE confirmed today that Erick Rowan suffered a torn right bicep, and he underwent surgery to repair the injury this week.
WWE posted the following announcement:
“Rowan of The Bludgeon Brothers has suffered a torn right bicep, WWE.com has learned. The former SmackDown Tag Team Champion is currently scheduled to undergo surgery to repair the injury this week.”
Tuesday night during SmackDown Live, The Bludgeon Brothers defended their SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but it was The New Day who managed to walk out with the gold.
As of right now there’s no official word on how long Rowan will be out of action.
