Roman Reigns fought to become the Universal Champion for quite some time, and at SummerSlam he finally defeated Brock Lesnar to win the title. But unfortunately Roman’s reign was cut short.
A few weeks ago on Raw, The Big Dog announced that he was vacating his Universal Championship so that he could take time off to focus on his battle with leukemia.
Since then fans have been processing the news, but it was recently reported that Roman Reigns is undergoing treatment.
At this point there’s no set timeline in regards to a potential return for Roman Reigns, but The Big Dog did make an appearance at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs. Georgia Bulldogs game on Saturday.
The official Georgia Tech Twitter account posted a quick video of Roman saying the following: “I’m the real Big Dog here. To hell with Georgia baby.”

Even though it’s not known when fans will see Roman Reigns on WWE programming again, Roman is still being mentioned on WWE programming.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are currently feuding, and Ambrose recently referenced Roman Reigns on Raw.
Furthermore, it’s been reported that WWE officials have decided who will be Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 35 opponent, and it’s expected that Roman Reigns will also be mentioned throughout that feud as well. You can get more on that here.
[…] But The Big Dog has been receiving a lot of support from the wrestling community, and he looked well when he recently made a public appearance at a Georgia Tech game. […]
