WWE Superstar Confirms Major Injury

It’s never a good thing when a wrestler suffers an injury, and now it seems that another name will be sidelined for the foreseeable future. Last week WWE was advertising AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo defending his title against EK Prosper on NXT, but the match was pulled from the show. WWE wrote Vikingo out of the episode as they filmed a backstage angle which involved Keanu Carver attacking Vikingo.

It was later reported that El Hijo Del Vikingo suffered a knee injury during rehearsals for his match with EK Prosper, and that the injury was believed to be serious.

Today Vikingo confirmed the injury when he posted a video showing that he’s currently using crutches while wearing a brace on his leg. He also confirmed he will be undergoing surgery when he posted the following:

“Have your way Lord, not my way.

Family tomorrow Mr HDLV goes into surgery, thanks for your support.

A grateful heart weighs less “Gratitude” Thanks for the support and attention @dorianroldanaaa @wwe
@luchalibreaaa @wwenxt

Thanks to my wife for always being there in good and bad times I love you very much @aleidis_oficial

Thanks to my carnal for the support @wwefelixfernandez salute me….”

At this point in time there’s currently no word on how long Vikingo will be out of action. We wish him a speedy recovery.
