WWE SummerSlam was a spectacle and the show featured several title matches. Liv Morgan defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey and the match ended in controversy when Liv tapped out as she was pinning Ronda.

According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer the SmackDown Women’s Title match had a lot of time cut because The Miz vs. Logan Paul went long.

The Miz and Logan Paul’s match went for 14 minutes and 15 seconds while Morgan and Rousey only got 4 minutes and 35 seconds. After the controversial finish to the match it appeared that Ronda Rousey turned heel as she destroyed Liv Morgan and the referee.

Liv Morgan is still the SmackDown Women’s Champion, but it will be interesting to see where the title picture goes from here with Ronda Rousey seemingly working as a heel moving forward. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
