This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL and it featured some big moments, but it sounds like several segments were cut. Vince McMahon reportedly made changes to the show remotely, and his involvement was said to have been a hot topic.

Fightful Select reports that original plans for Raw included a Piper Niven vs. Candice LeRae match and a backstage segment featuring Niven, LeRae and Trish Stratus. Both segments were on the rundown for the show that was handed out at 7 PM EST, but they were cut and replaced with The Street Profits vs. Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin.

It’s also being reported that several of the female wrestlers have been vocal about segments for the women’s division getting cut constantly. Another segment that got cut was originally supposed to feature Adam Pearce and talent from the women’s division.

Several matches also had time cut from them, and winners and losers, as well as setups to get to finishes were also changed from the original plans for Raw. Stay tuned for updates.
