WWE has been hyping up the return of Eva Marie for weeks now, and when she finally returned to TV this week she returned with NXT UK star Piper Niven by her side.
Piper Niven ended up wrestling in place of Eva Marie on Monday Night Raw this week, and she defeated Naomi. After the match was over Eva Marie declared herself the winner.
The segment got a lot of attention, and after it aired a number of fans took to social media to body shame Piper Niven following her debut on Raw. The negative comments didn’t sit well with WWE talents such as Mia Yim, Bronson Reed, Charlotte Flair and others, and you can see some of the reactions below.

It’s interesting to note that the announcers did not acknowledge Piper Niven by name on Monday night, and instead they acted as if they didn’t know who she was. It seems that WWE plans to give her a new name now that she’s working with Eva Marie, and you can get more on that here.
