SummerSlam night 1 kick off on Saturday night and some of WWE’s biggest names were featured on the show. The Bella Twins & Paige teamed up to face off against Fatal Influence, and Fatal Influence ended up picking up the win.
During the match Brie Bella appeared to have suffered an injury and Triple H confirmed during the SummerSlam post-show that Brie’s shoulder was injured. The Game confirmed that Brie was checked out backstage before she was taken to a hospital, and he noted that the injury seemed “pretty bad.”
“I know she hurt her shoulder. It seems pretty bad, but I don’t have an answer yet. Hopefully we will soon. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as we thought it was. But that’s the nature of the game,” Triple H said.
PWInsider is reporting that Brie Bella was pulled from afternoon photo and autograph sessions in Minneapolis this afternoon due to the injury she suffered at SummerSlam. As of right now there is no official diagnosis for the injury.
Fatal Influence secured the victory on Saturday night when Jacy Jayne hit Paige with the Rolling Encore then pinned her. The Bella Twins then proceeded to turn on Paige as Nikki hit the former Divas Champion with the Rack Attack 2.0. After the beatdown Nikki teased a potential feud with Paige, but we’ll have to wait and see how things play out in the weeks to come now that Brie Bella has been sidelined.
