This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was interesting to say the least as the show featured several big moments including Ricochet’s backstage brawl with Bron Breakker.
During the brawl Bron Breakker threw Ricochet into a production truck then hit him with a powerslam onto a car. WWE posted the following update regarding Ricochet’s status on social media announcing that he will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time:
“After suffering a brutal attack at the hands of @bronbreakkerwwe this past Monday on #WWERaw, @KingRicochet will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time with upper body injuries.”
It’s no big secret that Ricochet’s WWE contract is set to expire this summer and it was recently reported that as of right now he is not planning to sign a new deal with the company. Ahead of Raw it was believed that Ricochet was most likely being written off TV during the episode, but according to a report from PWInsider there’s speculation that Ricochet could potentially make one more appearance on WWE programming so that the company can capitalize on the buzz surrounding his departure.
