WWE has cut ties with a number of names as multiple WWE stars have been released from their contracts. Now it seems that another WWE star has been let go.
PWInsider is reporting that Elektra Lopez was also released on Friday. Lopez had been part of the SmackDown brand and she was moved to the alumni section on WWE’s official website following her release from the company.
Elektra Lopez signed with WWE back in 2021 and went on to join the NXT brand. Lopez formed an alliance with Legado Del Fantasma, but she remained with NXT when the group got called up to SmackDown in 2022. Eventually Elektra Lopez re-joined Legado Del Fantasma when she debuted on the blue brand in January of 2024.
In addition to Elektra Lopez, WWE recently let go of the following names:
– Giovanni Vinci
– Karl Anderson
– Luke Gallows
– Blair Davenport
– Akam
– Rezar
– Paul Ellering
– Cedric Alexander
– Isla Dawn
– Sonya Deville
