Big moves are always being made in the world of professional wrestling and it’s been rumored for quite some time that Malakai Black was on his way out of AEW.
PWInsider is now reporting that Malakai Black is a free agent. Black’s deal with All Elite Wrestling reportedly expired on Sunday, and the company has removed him from the roster on their official website.
Malakai Black was released from WWE back in June of 2021 and he made his debut with All Elite Wrestling shortly after. Throughout his run in AEW he feuded with big names such as Cody Rhodes and Adam Copeland. He also managed to win the AEW World Trios Championship alongside his House of Black stablemates Brody King and Buddy Matthews.
During his time with the NXT brand Black was heavily pushed by Triple H, so there’s speculation that he could end up returning to WWE in the future.
