This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was an interesting show as a few names stepped up to make it clear that they want a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.
Bron Breakker confronted Sami Zayn and vowed to take the title from him. Sheamus then interrupted and pointed out how he’s been chasing the Intercontinental Championship for years. One thing led to another and Sheamus ended up facing off against Bron Breakker in a match that ended in a disqualification after Ludwig Kaiser interfered.
After the match Bron Breakker was being escorted to the back by WWE officials until he noticed that Kaiser was still attacking Sheamus. The cameras then cut to an overhead shot which showed Breakker running around the ring and hitting Kaiser with a perfectly timed spear before he could get to Sheamus.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE officials were happy with the camera shot that was used for the spear segment involving Bron Breakker and Ludwig Kaiser. It’s being said that the shot was planned throughout the day.
While no official challenger has been decided for Sami’s title just yet it’s probably safe to say that Bron Breakker and Sheamus will likely be involved in the title picture moving forward.
