Sasha Banks and Naomi got people talking a few weeks away when the walked out of WWE Monday Night Raw. Since then there’s been a lot of speculation regarding Sasha’s future, but now Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. is reporting that The Boss has been released from WWE. It’s not clear if she requested the release or if it was a decision made by WWE.

However, it’s important to note that WWE has not confirmed the release as of this writing. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that no one in WWE has specifically shot down the claim that Sasha was released, they just said they haven’t heard about it. If Sasha has indeed been released then the company is keeping it quiet, and talents close to the situation were not aware of a release as of Wednesday night.

The claim, which has been unverified as of this writing, is that Sasha’s lawyers were involved eyeing a physical release. There have been no internal memos sent out about the release and Banks is still on WWE’s roster page. Earlier this week there was an urgent email sent to a live event venue to remove Banks from advertising for an event she was no longer a part of.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
