Originally the AEW World Tag Team Titles were set to be decided in a triple threat ladder match at Road Rager this week, but The Hardys were pulled from the match following Jeff Hardy’s suspension.
The two remaining teams The Young Bucks and Jurassic Express went on to face off in the main event, and it was The Young Bucks who walked out with the gold.
At one point it seemed that Luchasaurus had the match won as he had his hand on the titles, but The Young Bucks pushed the ladder over and Luchasaurus crashed down on to four tables outside the ring. The Bucks followed up by hittingg Jungle Boy with the BTE Trigger then climbed up and grabbed the belts together. With the win The Young Bucks became the first two time AEW World Tag Team Champions in the history of All Elite Wrestling.
After the match Christian Cage checked on Jungle Boy and as he was helping him out of the ring he turned on Jungle Boy and hit him with the Killswitch. Christian then hit Jungle Boy with the Conchairto to end the show.
