WWE Reportedly Offered R-Truth Less Money To Sign A New Deal

R-Truth has been with WWE for quite some time now and throughout the course of his run with the company he’s become one of the most popular stars on the roster. Unfortunately R-Truth’s run with WWE is coming to an end soon as it was recently revealed that the company informed Truth that they won’t be renewing his deal when it expires.

During a recent episode of The Coach & Bro Show, Jonathan Coachman discussed R-Truth’s WWE departure and claimed that he was told R-Truth turned down a contract offer for far less money than he was making.

“I should put this out there because I had somebody reach out to me, and reportedly, and I have not confirmed this, but reportedly they did offer R-Truth a contract that was far less money than what he was making, and he decided to turn that down. That’s what somebody told me that’s in the know. Now whether or not that’s true I’m not sure.”

R-Truth is not the only superstar who will be parting ways with WWE soon as Carlito and Sarah Logan also announced that they were told their deals will not be renewed when they expire.

Coachman continued to address the R-Truth situation on social media and went on to say that he’s been told Truth was offered a “substantial” amount less to re-sign with WWE.

“Yes. My sources tell me that R Truth was offered a substantial amount less to resign. IMO this is the beginning of “resetting” the contract lines. I get both sides not knowing what the amount was. We went through the same thing years ago at espn. Alot of talent was overpaid in the executives minds and they had to reset one deal at a time. My guess is R Truth knows whatever the number was that he can make more than that either on the indies like Cardona or at AEW.”

At this point in time there’s currently no word on what R-Truth’s next move will be once he officially becomes a free agent.
