Rhea Ripley has been one of the top stars in the WWE women’s division for years now and she captured the WWE Women’s Championship when she defeated Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42 back in April. Unfortunately Ripley is sidelined at the moment as it was announced on Friday Night SmackDown last week that The Eradicator is dealing with a knee injury.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that there’s been significant reshuffling not only when it comes to Rhea Ripley’s direction, but also for a number of women on the SmackDown roster.

It’s being said that several plans have been adjusted due to Rhea Ripley’s injury. It was also noted that WWE recently changed advertising for Night of Champions as they removed Rhea Ripley and added Tiffany Stratton.

In recent months Rhea Ripley has had a target on her back as multiple names have been chasing the WWE Women’s Championship. Even though Ripley has already defeated Jade Cargill, the former champion is still in the hunt, and Jacy Jayne has also made it clear that she is looking to challenge Ripley for the title.

One way or another it will be interesting to see how plans play out for the women’s division in the weeks to come, and who Rhea ends up feuding with once she’s back on TV.
