There are many stars on the main roster who are trying to get noticed right now and there’s no denying that Dominik Mysterio has become one of the stars to watch. The former SmackDown Tag Team Champion has been getting some massive heat as of late and it seems that some big opportunities could be coming his way.
Wade Keller recently discussed Dominik’s status on the Wade Keller Pro Wrestling Podcast, and he claimed that there’s been some talk of Dominik Mysterio challenging for a title belt at SummerSlam in August.
“I don’t think in two years he will be like, It’s not like a James Ellsworth thing where its like a little thing we do and then it goes away. I think he’s going to be around. People are asking serious questions like should he be challenging for a title at SummerSlam.”
It’s not clear at this point in time if the title match will happen, or which title Dominik could be challenging for if it does happen, but the belief is that he’s being groomed for a major push.
It’s been reported previously that Triple H is high on Dominik Mysterio, so it seems that the future is bright for Dom, and we’ll likely be seeing a lot more of him in the coming years.
