Dean Ambrose has been one of WWE’s top Superstars for several years now, but it looks like the former WWE Champion will be parting ways with the company in a few months.
It was recently reported that Dean Ambrose gave notice to WWE and told company officials that he will not be renewing his contract.
WWE confirmed the report and issued the following statement:
“Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.”
According to PWInsider, Ambrose turned down an offer for a five year contract which would have seen him make more than seven figures annually. It’s being said that he can do what he wants in WWE because he’s made good money and doesn’t live an expensive lifestyle.
