Over the last few days there’s been a lot of talk about the WWE ID program as a number of WWE ID talent have confirmed that they are no longer with the company. Now another WWE ID talent is making headlines for an entirely different reason.

During the Wrestling Open RI event on Monday, Sloane Jacobs teamed up with Kylie Alexa & Paris Van Dale for a six woman tag match that saw Allie Katch, Liviyah & Shannon LeVangie pick up the win.

After the match, Sloane Jacobs apparently joined the commentary team, blamed her partner Paris Van Dale for losing, boasted about appearing on Tubi weekly before she threw down the head set and stormed off when she was interrupted by one of the announcers.

Following the show the official WWE ID X account posted a public apology to Wrestling Open RI which reads as follows:

“WWE ID would like to apologize to @WrestlingOpenRI for Sloane Jacobs’ behavior last night.

WWE ID values @WrestlingOpenRI and @WrestlingOpen as important places for independent wrestlers to grow and develop.”

It’s not clear at this point in time if this is legitimate, or some sort of storyline. The Beyond Wrestling account responded to the original post from the WWE ID account with a post of their own which said, “I got nothing but love for WWE ID. Honestly, I feel like I’ve been the biggest proponent of Mimi ever since she got cut, and felt shared pride when she got another chance through the WWE ID program. But using the IWTV broadcast to air grievances was not the right time or place…”

As of this writing Sloane Jacobs has yet to respond to the original post from the WWE ID account, but she did respond to Beyond Wrestling when she posted, “nothing but love for the program” but can’t even be bothered to call me the correct name righttttt”

Stay tuned for updates.
