WWE departures have obviously been a hot topic throughout 2026 as some surprising names have parted ways with the company. Sheamus declined to a sign a new restructured contract a few months ago, and he recently became a free agent. Coming out of the Bound For Glory pay-per-view over the weekend Sheamus was a talking point as it was reported that Total Nonstop Action was interested in working with him.

False Finish reported that before Max Caster answered Moose’s open challenge for Bound For Glory, Sheamus was the primary name that Total Nonstop Action had been considered for that spot.

Fightful Select is reporting that TNA Wrestling reached out to Sheamus about possibly working the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. However, it’s being said that it wasn’t a situation where the company was “choosing” Sheamus over Max Caster.

According to the report as of two weeks ago Sheamus had not accepted the booking, and it was also noted that the rate between Sheamus and Max Caster is vastly different.

Regarding Max Caster, he is officially done with TNA Wrestling due to the controversial line he used during his rap about the bombings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. There was talk of the company using him at the TV tapings in Alabama this week, but TNA Wrestling recently issued a statement confirming that they will not be working with Caster moving forward.
