Over the last few years WWE has signed some notable names from other companies, and now it seems that the company has their sights set on another top star.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that WWE is interested in acquiring current TNA Wrestling World Champion Mike Santana. According to the report there is internal support from at least one member of the WWE main roster. It’s also being said that his work and professionalism is highly regarded.
No brand has been nailed down for Santana if he does indeed sign with WWE, but WrestleVotes claims that if WWE signs him they want Santana on the main roster by the end of the year. Santana’s current deal with TNA Wrestling is expected to be up this summer.
Mike Santana originally debuted with TNA Wrestling in 2017, but later parted ways with the company and signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019. After finishing up with All Elite Wrestling in 2024, he returned to Total Nonstop Action and became a two time TNA Wrestling World Champion.
Thanks to TNA Wrestling’s partnership with WWE, Santana made his WWE debut last year when he started appearing in NXT in May of 2025, and he’s made several appearances on NXT since then.
Stay tuned for updates.
