Unfortunately a WWE Hall of Famer appears to be dealing with some health issues at the moment as Fred Ottman (known to WWE fans as Typhoon, Tugboat and Shockmaster) announced that he is currently in the hospital.

Ottman shared a video from the hospital announcing that he will not be able to make it to make it to his appearance at SWFL Super Card Show in Fort Myers, Florida from September 11 through September 13.

“Unfortunately, due to things beyond my control, I was put into the hospital here this evening. Finally got admitted after I was taken to the emergency room. But I will not be able to be in Fort Myers. And I want to apologize, and I’ll get together with the promoters and my friend Matthew that was bringing me in after I see what’s going on here with the doctors. But I love you all, and keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully I’ll be seeing you soon.”

Earlier this year Ottman revealed that he had been hospitalized for 30 days after his gallbladder exploded. He also noted in February that he underwent surgery. Ottman was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as one half of the Natural Disasters in 2025.

Stay tuned for updates.
