There are quite a few talents on the WWE main roster, and from time to time talents go through gimmick changes in order to keep things fresh. Back in 2019, Baron Corbin won the King of the Ring tournament, and since then he’s been referring to himself as King Corbin.
However, King Corbin has been feuding with Shinsuke Nakamura for weeks now, and Shinsuke has been constantly stealing Corbin’s crown. Shinsuke Nakamura recently won the battle for the crown, and a coronation ceremony was held for him last week on SmackDown.
Now that Corbin has lost his crown WWE’s official website is once again referring to him as Baron Corbin instead of King Corbin. Over the years fans have seen a few variations of his name including Constable Corbin, and King Corbin, but it looks like he’s back to just being regular old Baron Corbin for now.
It seems that his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura is in the rear view now, so it will be interesting to see where Corbin goes from here. Stay tuned for updates.
