This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw gave fans plenty to talk about. John Cena and Roman Reigns tore the house down with an intense promo, Jeff Hardy earned a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, Alexa Bliss won the Raw Women’s Championship, and Enzo Amore did his Enzo Amore thing.

Enzo continued to work with the stars of cruiserweight division following his debut on 205 Live last week, and he fought Noam Dar in a singles match. He managed to get the win, but WWE originally had different plans for Enzo on Raw this week.
PWInsider is reporting that Enzo Amore was originally supposed to be part of the 15 man battle royal to determine the new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. No word on why plans changed, but Amore was pulled from the battle royal at some point over the course of the day.
Enzo Amore isn’t the only star on the roster who ended up doing something different than what was originally planned on Monday night. It was also reported that John Cena was set to face off against Samoa Joe one on one, but the match was scrapped after it was revealed that Samoa Joe suffered an injury over the weekend.
