Back in February, Charlotte Flair earned the right to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship when she won the women’s Royal Rumble match. Recently their feud has been one of the most talked about feuds in wrestling as they reportedly went off script during a promo battle earlier this month when they took some personal shots at one another.
Ahead of last week’s SmackDown, Charlotte Flair attacked Tiffany Stratton in the parking lot and fan footage of the attack quickly went viral. Fightful Select is reporting that WWE was happy with how Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton responded and were working together following the uncomfortable situation with the recent promo battle.
Flair and Stratton were also involved in a physical altercation during SmackDown which was said to have been very stiff. It was noted that everything went ok with the segment, and backstage personnel noted that the segment was received well.
Charlotte Flair will now go on to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41, and the match is expected to take place during night 1 of the big event.
