Just in case you haven’t heard, Kurt Angle is set to become a WWE Hall of Famer this year. On Monday it was announced that the former WWE World Champion will be headlining the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Class and he will be inducted on March 31st.

Kurt Angle made his WWE debut in 1999 and people quickly took notice of his charisma and in-ring abilities. It didn’t take Kurt Angle long at all to make his way into the main event scene, as he captured the WWE World Championship in just 343 days, and he went on to win the title a total of 4 times. He also won the World Heavyweight Championship and WCW World Championship during his run with the company.

Fans were saddened when Kurt Angle parted ways with WWE and joined TNA in 2006, but after 10 years with TNA Kurt finally decided to move on in 2016. Over the past year he hasn’t been shy about letting the world know that he wanted to return to WWE, and on Monday Triple H called Kurt Angle to inform him that he’s headlining the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class.

It remains to be seen if Kurt Angle will be wrestling another match inside a WWE ring, or if the company has other plans for him besides the Hall of Fame induction. But it’s clear that wrestling fans and wrestling stars are thrilled about Kurt’s Hall of Fame induction, and you can check out some of the reactions below.
