Last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw quite a few names from the past return for Legends Night, but some former WWE stars who were originally advertised for the show never ended up appearing.
WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle was set for Legends Night, and he was recently asked during a Facebook Q&A why he did not end up appearing on the show.
Angle provided the following response, “I had a prior engagement I was committed to. I couldn’t get out of it.”
In addition to Kurt Angle, Carlito and Candice Michelle were also advertised for the show but did not appear.
Kurt Angle was released from his WWE contract last April due to coronavirus related budget cuts. It’s not clear when he might make another appearance on WWE programming. Stay tuned for updates.
