Daniel Bryan faced Brock Lesnar in a champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series on Sunday, but it was a very one sided contest at first.
For most of the match Brock Lesnar dominated Daniel Bryan as he took him to Suplex City, but the tables turned when Brock Lesnar accidentally knocked out the referee with Bryan’s foot while trying to get Bryan in the F5.
Bryan capitalized by hitting Brock with a low blow, then a running knee, but Brock kicked out.
The WWE Champion finally managed to get some offense in, and he started to make a comeback.
On the outside of the ring, Lesnar grabbed the steel steps and tried to hit Bryan with them, but Bryan moved and they bounced off the ring post back into Lesnar. Bryan followed up by hitting The Beast with a running knee.
The action continued in the ring and Bryan hit another running knee, but Brock kicked out.
Bryan then focused on Brock’s legs as he wrapped them around the ring post, then hit Brock with a dropkick from the top rope.
Lesnar tried to get Bryan in the F5, but his knee gave out and Bryan reversed it into the Yes Lock.
Brock broke the hold, but Bryan hit him in the head repeatedly then locked it in again with Lesnar stuck in the middle of the ring.
Eventually Brock got Bryan up for the F5 and pinned Bryan to win the match.
