A few months ago Vince McMahon introduced the Wild Card Rule and since then stars have been jumping back and forth between Raw and SmackDown Live on a weekly basis.
With so many stars being featured on both shows, spots for TV time are limited but it looks like WWE will be doing away with the Wild Card Rule sooner than later.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the current plan is to go back to split rosters in October.
There may be some minor crossover between the two brands but the idea is that it won’t be like it is right now.
The plan is for Raw under Heyman and SmackDown under Bischoff to be two legitimately separate brands with their own storylines as opposed to having storylines that play out on both shows.
Nothing has officially been decided but the belief is that the current rosters will stay in place, however there might be a few minor changes.
