After eight years away from WWE, Big Cass made his return to the company back in August and he’s been feuding with names like Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee in recent months. Cass has been trying to establish himself as a top heel, but the act hasn’t exactly been catching on with the fans.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that while the idea is not unanimously agreed upon, the feeling among a few within WWE creative is that the audience is waiting for Enzo Amore, and that is hampering what creative can do with Big Cass as a whole.
Over the summer it was reported that WWE was interested in bringing Enzo Amore back to the company, but so far there’s been no indication that we’ll be seeing Enzo any time soon as WWE has not hinted at his return in any way.
During their initial run with the company Enzo Amore and Big Cass were one of the most popular teams on the WWE roster. Whether or not we will see them reunite on WWE programming at some point in the future remains to be seen.
Stay tuned for updates.
