shinsuke nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the most popular stars on SmackDown Live at the moment, and the vast majority of WWE fans seem to love watching him do what he does best inside the squared circle. Shinsuke has been on a roll as of late, and he has a chance to become WWE Champion when he faces off against Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam on August 20.

Shinsuke is known for his charisma, and he seems to have a great sense of humor, but when he’s facing off against a tough opponent, he’s all business. After the tapings for SmackDown Live and 205 Live ended on Tuesday, Shinsuke got down to business when he teamed up with AJ Styles to take on the team of Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin. But after the match was over he decided to have a little fun with the fans.

If you’ve ever attended a WWE TV taping, then you probably know that it’s not at all uncommon for the wrestlers to walk around the ringside area and take pictures with the fans after the show. One fan wanted a selfie with Shinsuke after his match, and he got what he wanted, but he also temporarily lost his phone in the process.

As the fan reached out, Shinsuke willingly posed for a selfie, but then Nakamura’s humorous side kicked in. The number 1 contender for the WWE Championship then walked away from the barricade and took a selfie with a few more members of the crowd, and he jokingly stole the fan’s phone.

After The King of Strong Style finished taking the necessary photos, he shoved the phone down his pants, but being the nice guy that he is, Nakamura didn’t let the joke go on for too long before he returned it to its rightful owner. Still, the prank showed a fun side of Shinsuke Nakamura that fans don’t get to see every week on SmackDown, and you can see how it all went down in the clip below.
