Cesaro lost the second match in his Best of 7 Series this week on Raw and it looks like Cesaro suffered a storyline injury during the match. WWE posted the following on WWE.com:
Cesaro suffered multiple contusions to the lumbar spine during his match against Sheamus Monday on Raw, WWE.com can confirm.
Late in the match, Sheamus backdropped Cesaro into the turnbuckle before locking him in the Cloverleaf. The victory puts Sheamus up 2-0 in their Best of Seven Series.
Seth Rollins competed in a fatal 4-way match on Raw with the Universal Championship on the line and the match was won by Kevin Owens.
Triple H returned and he made it look like he was going to help Seth Rollins win the belt, but at the last second he turned on Rollins, then hit him with the Pedigree. Kevin Owens then pinned Rollins and became the new Universal Champion.
