The Raw after WrestleMania didn’t disappoint. The Revival made their main roster debut to topple The New Day in an open challenge. Finn Balor and Emma also made their Raw returns to a packed house of passionate fans. The Tuesday night show had a lot to live up to but, the SmackDown after WrestleMania didn’t disappoint in the slightest.
There were two highly-anticipated debuts on SmackDown live that made us mark out just as hard. Shinsuke Nakamura finally arrived on the WWE’s main roster to interrupt The Miz as he gloated about John Cena and Nikki Bella’s absence.
It looks like The King Of Strong Style is plenty ready to be The Miz’s next problem in WWE now that his program with Cena has concluded. We just wonder if Miz is going to be doing an impression of Shinsuke Nakamura during this rivalry as well.
Fans were elated to see Shinsuke Nakamura make his way to a SmackDown ring. Although he didn’t actually wrestle a match, just seeing him do his whole entrance was amazing enough. WWE is probably going to give us as little of Shinsuke as possible to warm up the temperature of fan anticipation until it’s at a full boil. So, when he finally hits a massive Strong Style kick on someone it will have all that much more meaning.
WWE’s official YouTube page put up a slow motion video of Nakamura making his first epic entrance to a WWE ring alongside his trusty violin playing sidekick. Wouldn’t it be awesome if they paid the violin player to travel with Nakamura from now on?
One person who did wrestle a match on their SmackDown debut was Tye Dillinger. Curt Hawkins foolishly offered an open challenge on the SmackDown after WrestleMania. He had to have known he was getting someone he wasn’t prepared for because that’s what open challenges mean, right?
The Perfect 10 came out and ran a clinic on Hawkins eventually winning after a Tye Breaker. WWE’s camera captured every moment of his amazing main roster debut. WWE’s YouTube channel also put up a slow motion video for Tye. These videos are awesome and we could certainly use more of them.
