When The Revival’s music hit last night to answer The New Day’s open challenge business picked up in a big way. The two-time NXT Tag Team Champions were met by WWE’s camera after they made their Raw debut and they had plenty to say.

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have scratched and clawed their way to the top of NXT’s Tag Team division for the last two-and-a-half years to prove they’re the best. Now they finally made the jump to Raw to continue their agenda of “No Flips, Just Fists.”

The New Day are the longest running WWE Tag Team Champions and suffered a definitive loss to The Revival on the Raw After WrestleMania. They were no match for The Revival’s Shatter Machine and after the loss, Kofi Kingston suffered their figure-four leglock/ top rope stomp double-team move to leave him rolling in the ring writhing in pain.

This is interesting for a couple of reasons. The New Day are starting to suffer some pretty big losses, they’ve put teams over but this was in a big way. Also, The Revival are no long toiling in NXT. Dawson and Wilder lost a superb match to The Authors Of Pain at NXT TakeOver: Orlando leaving some with hopes they were making a main roster jump soon. But, we’ve had those hopes before for The Revival.

We can’t wait to see The Revival do their thing on WWE’s main roster. It’s been a long time coming and they mean serious business. Just the thought of The Revival having a program with the Hardy Boyz makes us wonder if we’re dreaming. But, this is very much a reality.

One thing is for sure, they said “impact” an awful lot. But, they’re in WWE to make an impact, so it bared repeating. These Top Guys lived 40-miles off of bad road and they came to Raw to prove that they’re ready to show the world what they can do. We marked out hard when they came out on Raw, and the thought of seeing them mix it up with WWE’s finest means the possibilities are endless.
