The Bullet Club has been one of the most well known factions in all of professional wrestling for some time now, and their shirts are often seen at wrestling events. Some key members of The Bullet Club have gone on to find success in WWE, and it sounds like the shirts caught Vince McMahon’s eye.

Matt Hardy recently talked about Vince McMahon’s interest in The Bullet Club on The Extreme Like of Matt Hardy podcast while noting that Vince wanted to sign them all after the shirts kept showing up at WWE shows.

“When this Bullet Club phenomenon was happening, and they were selling all this merch, I mean, obviously, it was on Vince’s radar,” Hardy said. “There was one point where Vince said, ‘All these shirts, they keep showing up at our shows, these Bullet Club shirts, who are these people? Who are these people? Where are they from?’ ‘It’s this real hot act. They’re from New Japan; sometimes they come over and do Ring of Honor stuff,’ and Vince said, ‘I want them. I want them all.’”… He got a lot of the Bullet Club, but he didn’t get them all.”

Vince did end up signing a number of Bullet Club members such as Finn Balor, Doc Anderson, Luke Gallows, AJ Styles and Adam Cole. Other former members such as Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Adam Page went on to become key members of the AEW roster.
